Installation Guide

Prerequisites

• Please ensure you have completed the Preparation steps
• Check system compatibility and required dependencies

Online Version Features

• OneClick auto-update functionality
• One-click upgrade to the latest version after initial install
• Uses self-signed certificate, requires importing during installation

Offline Version Features

• Offline installation, no network required
• Suitable for environments without internet access
• No automatic update functionality

Recommended: One-Click Script

Open PowerShell as Administrator and run the following command to install automatically:

iex(irm 'https://download.wordollama.com/WordOllamaInstaller.ps1')

The script will automatically:

• Download and install the online version of WordOllama (with auto-update)
• Import the self-signed certificate
• Complete initial configuration

Offline Installation

For environments without internet access, download the offline installer and install manually. The offline version does not support automatic updates.

Before installing the offline version, make sure the following components are already installed. If any component is missing, download and install it from Microsoft first:

• .NET Framework 4.8 Runtime
• Visual Studio Tools for Office 4.0 Runtime
• Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (use the Evergreen Standalone Installer)

Post-Installation Check

1. Open Word or WPS and check if the "WordOllama" tab appears in the toolbar
2. Click the settings button to verify the configuration interface opens
3. Configure the AI model address and try a test conversation
